INTERESTING FACTS
Commercial Cable Canso Station was the first mainland North America site to recieve the message of the sinking of the Titanic from a relay sent from Cape Race, Newfoundland. The message of the sinking of the Titanic was sent out to all points of the world from this office.

On Saturday, June 19th, 2010 120 people attended a Dinner Theatre hosted by the Society. The event was held at the Fanning Education Centre in Hazel Hill and guests enjoyed a 4 course meal while being entertained by a wonderful performance from the Harbour Players.
